Weekend Story Intensive  * Weekend Writers Studio

Spend a productive weekend at the inspiring West Marin coast engaged in craft discussions and writing exercises to spark new stories for open mic readings or publication, with critique sessions, performance practice, and publication suggestions, as desired.

Marconi Conference Center, Pt Reyes
"Located along the east shore of Tomales Bay near the quaint community of Marshall, the location provides dramatic views of the bay and the lush inland hills of the Point Reyes Peninsula. Just 90 minutes north of San Francisco, Marconi Conference Center provides an ideal setting for concentration and renewal without any sense of isolation or lack of comfort.  And, Endless Inspiration…."

The center offers excellent food, with vegetarian meals available upon request, and inviting hiking trails. Double or triple rooms smoke-free rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and each has a private bath, study desk, and wireless Internet access (for a small fee). A limited number of single rooms are available for a supplemental fee.

Fee $435 (includes tuition, all meals, and triple rooms w/bath; extra for double or single rooms)
